Special Gift Ideas
Have you ever gotten close to December 25th and you didn’t have any Christmas gift ideas for someone special you are shopping for? This article will break up all the confusion and fuss you have about what to get someone for Christmas, for all ages!
Women: Gosh. . .woman love all kinds of gifts. First off, does the one your shopping for have any interests that stand out? For example, if she likes horses and animals, you could think about getting some sort of animal calendar or poster. If she likes scrap booking, go to the store and make her a basket of scrap booking supplies, like folders, paper, etc. If it all comes down to it and you can’t find something to get her, there is one last thing. . . Jewelry! They love it. You can get them practically anything they can wear, and it will mean something to them, and they can show it off fashionably. Lastly, you can’t go wrong with candles! Pick out a nice smelling, but not too strong candle they can light in their homes.
Men: Men are a little harder to shop for if you don’t know exactly what they want. Most of them like sports, so you could try a sports tee-shirt or jersey. Does he like basketball or music? You could get tickets to a concert or basketball game. When you shop for a man, he will expect what he wants. He doesn’t want to open up his present and have a pack of underwear and that is all he got for Christmas. “Hey, what did you get for Christmas?” “Underwear.”
No one wants this to happen, so put a little thought in your shopping, and have fun doing it.
Children: Young children are the hardest to shop for, especially if they are really young. Sometimes you are shopping for toys, and you don’t know what they have already. This is where the uniqueness comes in. Matchbox cars, or any toy cars will do the trick with them. If they are girls, try Barbies. You can never have too many of them! If it is a boy, try wrestling action figures, or GI Joes. Kids won’t mind if they get double of what they already have. Chances are, they won’t even know.
Personal/Homemade: The possibilities are endless for homemade gifts. If someone likes to bake, make a recipe scrapbook for them. You could also make a jar filled with ingredients for cookies (flour, sugar, etc) and put a note on it saying add water, milk, eggs, etc. or whatever needs to be done, so they can make their own cookies. You can make soy candles, doll houses, fudge, playdough, bath salts, etc.
Have fun!
